Good Morning Coelho Families,
We hope everyone's school year is off to a great start. We would like to invite you to our monthly PTO meeting today, Wednesday, October 11th at 6 p.m. in the school library. Come meet this year's board members and learn what events we have planned for the year. We are in need this year of family support to help raise funds to support all our students and our school.

On October 12th Coelho Middle School will begin its after-school clubs/ activities program along with providing late buses for any student that is registered for the bus for the 2023-24 school year. Afterschool activities and buses will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. All students who are walkers or pickups will be dismissed at 3:30 and students who are riding the bus home will leave the school around 4:00. You should make note that the late bus stops for students are different from the normal stops that they are assigned to.
Before next Tuesday we will send out a complete list of the late bus stops and how they correlate to their regular PM stops, along with a complete list of the clubs offered. I would recommend that you reference these documents so that you are aware of where the stops are located. We will also have this posted on our Coelho Middle School website.
As for signing up for clubs, students each week can sign up the day before the club is held, usually Mondays and Wednesdays, for the club they want to participate in. This process allows students to have more choices about what they are interested in.

This is just a reminder that tomorrow, October 6th is a 1/2 day of school and there is no school on Monday, October 9th.

Due to the forecast and corresponding flash flood threat this afternoon, APS will dismiss an hour early today, Wednesday, September 13, 2023. There will be no PM ELC. ABACUS will be open. The schools will dismiss at the following times: AHS: 12:50 PM Middle Schools: 1:20 PM Elementary Schools: 2:25 PM
Bus A3 will be impacted by the road closing this morning.
Students that take a bus for CMS that live on Read street are going to be affected by the road being closed. We gathering information and we relay info to you as soon as possible on where and when to get the bus for school. We are now determining what specific busses will be affected and report back .
